Hello Marina!

My name is Mike Moeller and I am running for City Council in District 3.

I am a passionate volunteer devoted to maintaining clean, open spaces and participating in community activities. I am dedicated to driving positive change in the city we love. I support smart growth that prioritizes affordable housing and strengthens our local economy. My goal is to lead by example, inspiring a new generation of community involvement and encouraging active civic engagement.

I have consistently stood with Marina residents to safeguard our vital water supply, recognizing the importance of sustainable resources for the future. I have actively opposed the expansion of gambling establishments in our downtown, prioritizing the well-being and integrity of our community over commercial interests. Additionally, I have been a strong advocate for preserving coastal access, ensuring that our cherished coastline remains accessible for everyone to enjoy now and in the future.

To stay current, I attend numerous city council meetings in Marina and agency board meetings throughout Monterey County I also have meticulously reviewed thousands of pages of documents related to our region. My strong connections with community leaders also ensure that I remain well-informed on issues that impact Marina.

I pledge to make decisions with careful research, integrity, transparency, and a genuine commitment to the community. To listen to every voice, even when it’s inconvenient. To stand up for what’s right, even when it’s hard.

I am more than just a community volunteer; I am committed to working tirelessly for Marina and being a strong, informed voice on your behalf.
