Marina is a city with deep roots and continued growth. We have longtime residents, new neighborhoods, and a diverse community that all deserve the same thing, a city government that works for them.
Residents heard before decisions are made
Show up where people already are, at neighborhood meetings, community events, and everyday conversations, and carry what I hear into City Hall. Residents should be part of a decision while it is still being made, not informed once it is final.
Clear answers, published on time
Publish agendas, budgets, and decisions in a way residents can keep up with and actually understand. Trust is built by being consistent and easy to follow, so residents can see what the city is doing without having to chase it.
Every dollar accounted for, in public
Treat public money as something borrowed from the people who earned it. That means transparent budgeting and spending that still makes sense when a resident asks what it paid for.
