Candidate Statement

Why I am running for Mayor of Marina.

I have spent the past 15 years serving our community as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in public healthcare, where teamwork, accountability, and sound judgment matter every day. Beyond my profession, I have dedicated thousands of volunteer hours to strengthening Marina by bringing people together to solve community challenges. I founded Repair Café Marina, serve as the Chair of Marina in Motion, the Chair of MPRPD Citizen Oversight Committee, Co-Chair of the All-Inclusive Playground Committee, and more. I have helped connect residents, nonprofits, schools, and local organizations to improve our community. Those experiences have taught me that lasting progress begins with listening, earning trust, and working together to turn good ideas into results.

Working families are already feeling the pressure of rising costs. Rather than another permanent tax, I believe we can build the public facilities our firefighters, police officers, city employees, and residents deserve through responsible planning, economic growth, and smarter budgeting.

As Mayor, I will listen carefully and work every day to earn your trust through transparency, fiscal responsibility, and practical leadership. I will serve every resident with fairness, respect, and integrity because everyone deserves a voice in the future of our city.
